Privacy Policy
Last updated · August 26, 2026
This page is maintained by the NOVA Deep Search team to answer common privacy questions about our app.
What we collect
- Search queries — used to fetch results and enrich the AI brain. Stored with the resulting captures.
- Brain captures — publicly-available page text NOVA reads, embeddings, and metadata (hostname, title, category).
- Local library — your search history and bookmarks are stored in your browser (localStorage) and never leave your device unless you sign in.
- Anonymous usage — high-level analytics (page views, latency) to keep the app fast.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not attach advertising identifiers.
- We do not track you across other sites.
Third-party services
NOVA uses the following processors:
- Lovable Cloud — backend, database, authentication.
- Lovable AI Gateway — AI inference (chat, embeddings).
- Firecrawl — web crawling and search.
Your controls
- Clear your local library any time from the Library panel.
- Request deletion of your brain captures by contacting us.
